Welcome to my newspapers!
This is a totally non-profit, volunteer effort in support of our nation's heroes and their families. I try to inform and advise on the latest important news being spit out by the Veterans Administration, branches of service, veteran's organizations, and commercial media outlets. In many instances I am the author of contained articles; however, I am dependent upon other sources to ensure a professional and effective publication is being presented. I am extremely thankful to commercial outlets who have granted me permission to repeat certain articles contained in their respective newspapers, websites, blogs, and other media capabilities. These include but are not limited to Stars and Stripes, Military.com and VAWatchdog.org. I am very grateful for their support to my publication and to America's heroes.
Information About The Grapevine
My newspapers are now in their 15th year and have gradually expanded from a small 6 page paper on 8x11 paper to the current ledger paper size of 40 pages. You may note some advertisements from commercial sources and these result from donations by businesses and I, in turn, place a free ad in the paper for supporting this program. All funds donated by those businesses are sent directly to a Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Florida, or Virginia, who entirely sponsor the papers. Those donations are used to pay for printing and mailing costs of the paper and any excess amount would be used to support other veteran support activities by those Posts. I do not handle the money or get involved with management of it and perform my services free of charge. I also host and pay for this website for free.
Subscribe or Download
You can download the latest issue of the above Virginia based paper by clicking here, or by clicking on the newspaper graphic above. It is a .PDF file and you will require Adobe Reader or any other .PDF reading capable program to view it. You may subscribe to the paper and have it mailed directly to you for $15 per year (6 issues). This amount simply covers printing and mailing costs with little or no profit for the VFW Posts. To subscribe, simply email me and we will set up a payment process to one of the Posts, obtain the mailing address, etc. If you would like to simply donate to the effort, email me. To download the Florida based paper below click here or on the graphic below. Though covers of the papers are similar, content will be different. The Virginia based paper is essentially a veteran's national paper, while the Florida based paper contains local information for Citrus County Florida veterans.

We need your support. If you would like to have a free ad in either newspaper, email me for specifics regarding donations. Again, 100% of all donations go directly to a specific VFW Post to offset our printing and mailing expenditures.
Article Submissions
If you wish to submit an article to be included in a future issue please email it to me. I reserve the right to edit or not accept it. Do not send any item that is copyrighted and I would appreciate you checking facts of the article before submitting it. In every instance I will confirm validity of the information and I cannot guarantee when the item will appear due to periodic backlogs of articles.
